The ASO Conference ‘21

 

The ASO Conference is an annual conference organized by Phiture, together with AppTweak, where the world of App Store Optimization is discussed and updates are shared. For the second time in a row, it had to be done online, as the Covid restrictions didn’t allow us to do it in person.

 

For the 2021 edition we took the elements created for the 2019’s branding and converted them into 3D elements. We wanted the branding to be an evolution of the previous edition instead of replacing it completely.

We wanted to make a connection with mobile and app references. The main element, as seen bellow, is a graphic representation of a tapping effect.

This project involved the creation of assets and templates for social media (Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook), as well as all the creatives used during the actual conference (background images for the speakers, transitions between speakers, speakers’ introductions and so on).

 
 
 
 

Same same, but different

We kept the same colour palette and font from the previous editions and made some tweaks on how we used them.

For the typography, we kept Rubrik as our font but now used a mix of the bold type and the outline one. This allowed us to easily create a sense of hierarchy on our designs, as well as play with the animation of the lines.

For the colours, we now used the red for the light, creating a dark and appealing environment.
